After 42 years at Chichester Chiropractors, I have decided to close the practice and to relocate to Plymouth in mid-February, where I have taken a permanent job in another clinic.
I decided that it would be a good idea to spend the rest of my professional life working for somebody else.
My wife, Diane, and I have close family in Plymouth and know the area well, having travelled there over many years to visit them.
The chiropractic records of my Chichester patients have been sent to Dr Andrew Webley, at Healthwise Chiropractic, 119 The Hornet, Chichester PO19 7JP
Tel: 01243 790908
Andrew has been a friend and trusted colleague of mine for about 20 years and I cannot recommend him highly enough to continue the chiropractic care of my patients.
Diane and I, along with our incredible receptionists, Deirdre and Jenny, send Heartfelt good wishes to you all - patients, friends and colleagues alike, and we thank you for the loyalty, kindness and friendship you have shown us since I founded Chichester Chiropractors in 1983.
It has been a truly wonderful experience and I thank you for making it so.
Founded in 1983 by our principal chiropractor John Springard and the late Frank Hunt in the heart of Chichester, West Sussex, Chichester Chiropractors are the longest-established providers of chiropractic care in the Chichester/Bognor Regis area.
Our goal is to offer our patients of all ages and from all sectors of the community, safe, effective and affordable evidence-based chiropractic healthcare in a relaxing and friendly, but professional atmosphere.
Our approach is truly patient-centred, right from the moment our friendly and helpful reception team greet patients on arrival. We regard every patient as an individual and their treatment plan will be tailored to suit their particular needs.
Focus is placed on the promotion of good health. This not only encompasses symptomatic relief, but the prevention of recurrences and keeping our patients’ joints, muscles and nerves working at their optimum.
John is approaching his 42nd year of practice, having qualified from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1983 (now the Health Sciences University) as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is a Licentiate of the Royal College of Chiropractors.
His areas of special clinical interest are neck injuries, headaches and migraines, care of the elderly and chronic pain.
John’s favourite pastimes are spending time with family & friends, reading history books and bemoaning the results of Ipswich Town F.C.
He is married to our Practice Manager, Diane, and they have a son living in the West Country.
Chiropractic is a safe and effective form of treatment, which is underpinned by the body's own natural healing abilities. The principal aim of Chiropractic healthcare is to get to the causes of pain and dysfunction, not merely to treat the symptoms. It is a natural method of treatment, without the use of either drugs or surgery. The most common problems treated by chiropractors include back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder/arm pain, headaches and sports injuries.
Our experienced chiropractor is skilled in spinal and chiropractic adjustments. The purpose of spinal adjustments is to return the spine to a state of optimum function and to reduce pain, muscle spasms, and nerve irritation, so you can enjoy freedom from pain.
With more than 42 years of experience our chiropractor is capable of analyzing your body and creating a custom pain relief and rehabilitation plan to benefit your health. We understand the importance of educating you in chiropractic care so that you can heal quickly.
Not only will our chiropractor treat your existing conditions, we strive to prevent pain and illness from reoccurring. We aim to help you improve your quality of life and achieve your health goals.
Most work injuries are caused by overuse and repetitive stress injuries. Over time, small tasks done with poor posture can lead to acute or chronic pain, which can result in reduced worker productivity, lost time from work, disability, and an inability to perform tasks.
